HOW TO APPLY KOREA VISA IN VIETNAM

INTRODUCTION

South Korea, an East Asian nation on the southern half of the Korean Peninsula, shares one of the world’s most heavily militarized borders with North Korea. It’s equally known for its green, hilly countryside dotted with cherry trees and centuries-old Buddhist temples, plus its coastal fishing villages, sub-tropical islands and high-tech cities such as Seoul, the capital.

Visitors to South Korea can either enter the country without a visa or in some cases they must first obtain a visa. For visa exemption cases, these foreign nationals may travel to South Korea for a certain period of times (180 days, 90 days, 60 days, 30 days) depending on their nationality upon condition that they have the passport which is valid for at least 06 months. Citizens of countries are allowed a maximum stay of 30 days: Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Cyprus, Egypt, Fiji, Guyana, Honduras, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Marshall, Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Monaco, Montenegro, Nauru, New Caledonia, Oman Palau, Paraguay, Qatar, Samoa, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Swaziland, Tonga, Tunisia, Tuvalu, Vatican City.

Citizens of countries are allowed a maximum stay of 180 days: Canada

Citizens of countries are allowed a maximum stay of 90 days:

Citizens of countries are allowed a maximum stay of 60 days: Lesotho, Portugal, Russia

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SINGAPORE VISA APPLICATION

All visitors to South Korean must submit:

1. Original passport valid for at least 06 months from the date of entry into South Korea and still has blank pages;
2. 2 passport photos in 4x6 cm size white background, must be taken within the last 3 months;
3. A copy of Vietnam temporary residence card, work permit applied for foreigner living  in Vietnam;
4. Application form signed by the applicant;
5. Notarized true copy of National Identity Card;
6. Notarized true copy of Household Registration Book (all pages);
7. Notarized true copy the Marriage/ Single/ Divorce certificate;
8. For business owner: Notarized true copy of Business Registration Certification + Business income tax return within the last 03 months;
9. For employee: Notarized true copy of Labor Contract + Letter of business decision/ Leave Application form + Pay slips within the last 03 months;
10. For student: Student card.

For business purpose, providing the following documents:

COMPANY IN SOUTH KOREA:

1. Original invitation letter, sealed by the company;
2. Original guarantee certificate, sealed by the company (if the customer has entered OCED countries, the guarantee certificate is not required)
3. Notarized true copy of Business Registration Certificate;
4. Certificate of Tax Payment within the last 03 months;
5. Legal seal confirmation certificate or seal confirmation certificate (for private companies).
6. Work schedule.

For tourism purpose, providing the following documents:

1. Proof of financial standing:

• Passbook and bank statements having at least 5000USD;
• Notarized true copy of any asset ownership certificates (such as house and land).

2. Travel itinerary;
3. A copy of hotel booking;
4. A copy of return flight ticket.

VALIDITY OF VISA

Visa is valid for 3 months, single entry, duration of stay is no more than 30 days
